Should I be able to hear my bypass valve letting off the boost? I havent heard it yet and lately the car acts as if I am shifting with boost, like the boost is pulling the engine down or something. I have always heard the bypass when they discharge and I cannot hear this one at all.

my 3rd car is a 95 gst. the stock small bosch valve is very quiet although i dont remember exactly but i dont think you can hear it unless your intake pipe is metal. I swapped my gst upper and lower out right away and you can definitely here it if you listen and i'd say the gst motor runs much quieter than an gt. If you want to do a swap out for a flange setup the 1st gen eclipse gst has an all metal bov and sounds sweet. Its really cheap to find compared to some aftermarket bovs and can hold more psi than the bosch plastic crappy bov uncrushed and crushed up to 30psi i believe. The sad thing about those bosch bov is that it starts to leak after you start running higher boost levels above 12psi.
