I'm contemplating a discharge pipe where the BOV (Mondo) is positioned just after the head unit and the MAF (HPX-E) mounted about 6 inches upstream.

Does anybody have experience with this sort of setup? Will the BOV postiion cause too much turbulence for the MAF to read accurately at low boost levels?

I thought about the same idea. For more room i was thinking about clocking the headunit to the 6 oclock position, mounting the bov on the upward curve then theres a straight shot to the throttle body for a slot maf.

That’s a good idea since that would allow for a slightly longer undisturbed straight path before the MAF sensor.

MAF shouldnt be in a curve best would be 2 dia of strait before and after.
Although this isnt forced induction this bango style set up will flow as much or sometimes more thah a straight pipe. Learned this when i worked for a company designing turbos
