Hello everyone. Just an old Maryland guy here hoping to give some knowledge and take some away too. Years ago I was On SBFtech and enjoyed talking to the fellas on there.

Putting the doors on sometime this week. Weatherstripping for the doors is a pain in the butt. Learned to start at the front and glue it down and around the corner first, and let it dry a day. Then you can do the rest. Makes keeping the adhesive where it belongs much easier. Just takes longer to do.

Nice car! Your wright about the weather stripping. I went through installing all new weather stripping on my 65 Falcon. Still don't have it right. Roger

It’s a pain in the ass for sure. It’s about as fun as bodywork. Lol. My uncle has two 63 falcons. One is a hard top street rod and the other is a restored convertible.

So I put off the doors until I get the headliner in. Should be doing that in the next week or two. This whole pandemic crap is a mess. I did get 95% sound deadener on the floor. I plan To finish the last little spots over the weekend.

As far as the installation it’s great. For sound deadening, I used it before in my 2012 mustang and it helped a good amount. Hoping it helps some with this.
