Because it costs even more money. Bone stock (usually low mile to be still clean) all original cars are nearly the same price or sometimes more than moderately modified clean cars because the people selling them think they have something special. Why spend more money to end up doing the same mods? Parts and shipping are expensive to Canada. I did a stocker before and it isn't worth it for me
I was looking for something up to my standards and was willing to pay if priced correctly. I was not looking for a steal. I was looking for something done right and not people over pricing non original 4 eyes that needed paint, had AC deletes, converted to a C4, running mods from the 80/90s like they were worth something....etc. I didn't see the 86 hatch you mentioned unless I did and didn't remember it because it wasn't something I wanted. I bought a Lightning blue 2017 GT/CS.
