I see that most of the line locks are installed at the ABS unit. As long as it is between the master cylinder and the ABS unit it will work the same, right? So what is the advantage of an instal at the ABS unit? Why not at the master cylinder?

As long as the line lock is one that ONE line between the MC and ABS it can be anywhere. It's tight near the MC. If you go from under the car, there is more room to work near the ABS. NOT MUCH, but some.

Near the END of the page, there is a link to a good line lock install article (and more line lock info) in my 95+ ABS page. See my sig.

I also did a line-lock install page for putting the solenoid near the ABS unit. See site below. It doesn't matter where in the line you put the solenoid.

Hey Joe,

what all parts are needed for the install?

Thanks,
Marcus

PS. What are you using for a switch?

Marcus--Go to the site in the sig then to the line-lock install page. Parts are listed there.

Double Flare

Hey Joe, What is double flare, and do I need a special flaring tool that does double flare. I only have one that does a "regular" flare.
