I currently run a MTT-1573 Mickey Thompson Sportsman front. It's a 26x7.5-15 mounted on a 15x3.5 Weld Pro Star. I intentionally went with these tires as they are built with 4-ply construction and an 8-ply rating. These went on the car when they were full weight (3450 lbs). I originally had Kuhmo street radial front runners on the front and they sagged at max pressure (40 psi)

Since then, I've dropped some 500 lbs off the car. These front tires are a little heavy. They have a max pressure of some 55-60 lbs so the roll out is good.. but the rotating weight is overkill now, IMO, as the car is lighter.

What would you guys suggest? What do you use and how heavy is your car?

I use the MOROSO DS2 front tires. they are by far the lightest on the market. My car is astrip only car. They are not recommended for street use. my race weight is 2840 with me.

I use Goodyear front runners...not sure of the weight, all I can say is they're very light. I would think any drag race type should be close to the same, much better over a radial type anyways.
