I normally hang out in the 2v section, but I figured I'd get a better response here. I'm using a Greddy profectB electronic boost controller and I'm heading to the dyno soon and I'm not really sure how it operates. Obviously, when it's off, it runs off the spring in the gate, I believe it's a pink Tial spring. But when on, you can set different boost levels, I wanted to do a couple pulls 10, 15, and 20lbs and wanted to know how to set them up. Basically, the question is, even if I have say a 15lb spring in there, doesn't it supply pressure to the top side of the gate to pressurize the diaphragm and allow you to run higher boost than the spring is rated for? Or is the spring the max I can run? Or is the spring useless when I'm using the controller? I doubt I'll ever use this controller to its fullest extent, but would like to dial in boost based on what I think the track will hold. Thanks all for the info!
