I briefly (very briefly) considered doing this once upon a time. One of our locals has collected several old hemis ranging in cubic inches from 331-392. All of which are capable of insane hp levels. When you see how wide one of these motors are, then you know right away it is not practical. I can't imagine a later model hemi motor being much smaller.
Picture a 4v 4.6. They are just as wide and much, much heavier. Not a good swap for a street application. A lightweight tube chassis race car? Yeah, it would be nice.
