I am not a flow dynamics person, but after doing some thinking i came across the thought that my intake spacer might not be helping me much except letting me use my tall valve covers.

I know alot of people use the intake spacer on nitrous and N/A applacations to gain the extra runner legth for more higher rpm power, With the turbo setup is the extra 1" runner length hurting me in any way? would think I can get some tourque increase down low by shorting the runner length. after looking at many pictures of turbo 5.0's, I didn't seen many using intake spacers. I was only thinking of the valve covers and apperance when I installed it. just throwing the question out there to see if anyone has any input.
