Hi all,

I am looking to put a 351 based 427 or 438 stroker into my 1986 Country Squire (Panther platform, but very similar hood clearance to fox bodies, just a bit more than the average fox stocker from what I understand)
Among the panther crowd, the only confirmed EFI 351's I have seen installed have been with a Lightning tubular intake. Given the cost of these intakes and their lower flowrates compared to aftermarket stuff I would like to go with an aftermarket plenum style efi manifold.
Rumors abound regarding the Edelbrock and knock offs being a close fit. Does anyone here have actual height differences between the Lightning intake and the Edelbrock?

I believe the Edelbrock combo is the 351 lower with a 302 upper as the 351 upper is a biiiiigg truck plenum.

Thanks!

Yeah, big plenum and really long 16" runners. The lower truck manifold only flows about 240 from what I have been able to figure out. There has to be something much better for a 427+ inch cubic inch engine.
