I'm in pursuit of more front end travel. I have maximum motorsports C/C plates and I'm looking into "flipping" the center bearing section over to gain travel. I've "heard" of people doing this but have never actually seen a car that has it done. Is it safe? looks like all that holds the "bearing" in is a spiral lock ring, once the plate is flipped over, and that has the weight of the front end on it? Anyone have pictures of this modification/alteration?
