Factory 2011-14 GT muffler look like they would work, 2.5" inlet/outlet from what I'm seeing online.
Always wondered what an active exhaust muffler on a fox would be like.

Way too pricey to try out though

HOA's are hit or miss. I lived under one, and it had it's bad with the good. The politics were what burned my ass more as some people got a long leash, and others got dinged with every little thing depending on who was bingo buddies with who. I don't live in one now, but live in a pretty nice neighborhood with a lot of good people that i respect, so i can see trying to somewhat be courteous to others. I usually try to not start the car too early or too late and for the most part, i idle in and out of the neighborhood. Lots of young kids around too.

I gave your post a "like" for spelling quiet correctly and not just going with the common typo "quite". :wink2:

The quintessentially quality quite quiet muffler quickly quells quakes and quashes quarrels.
Quite the queer but quality quantification of said quiet quip quackery.

Fwiw, I'm considering the XForce Varex mufflers for my new cat-back system.
They are ~$270+tax each. They go in place of the existing mufflers.
They are controlled by a wireless keyfob.
Or, some people hard-wire a toggle switch.
Or, for ~$370, they can be controlled by a smart-phone app.

If you wanted to make your life very easy, for $360, you can get the smart box and use the geo-location feature to automatically quiet the exhaust.
Note: You do not need and OBD-II car to use the location mode, or the manual mode.

I've listen to a bunch of clips. There are a few clips for the newer S550 Stangs.

Also, there are a few clips here:

Here is a clip with a '67 Stang that has a 487 FE engine. :)

Here's a clip with a car using the muffler that I mentioned above:

Those Varex mufflers seem interesting but I am not sure that I am looking for a $600 solution to this problem.

I will probably try and make some home made baffles that slide down the tips and see how well that does. I am not really worried about how much power they kill since I am not planning on driving the car like that for any extended period of time.

You’d probably be money ahead to throw your neighbors to the left and right 100 bucks each and tell them sorry but I’m coming home late sometimes.

I would "flow" with Laminar's suggestion above. Make your default system quiet --- hit the electric cutouts when you want it loud.

Spent more time/money playing with systems on my car to try and get a reasonable balance between sound I enjoyed and just being too loud. All of this is subjective - what some think is too loud, others think is just right. But I finally realized that anything aftermarket was too loud for my ears. I picked up pair of 5.0L Coyote mufflers for next to nothing on ebay -- undoubtedly someone much younger than me had removed them to put something on that was "too loud" for me. They're designed to handle 420-440 HP - so at that output level, they won't be too restrictive. Nice rumble when you get on it - but otherwise nice and quiet. Add cutouts when you feel the need for loud.

Bassani used to have baffles that you could take out of their tips. Maybe they sell them separately.
I have them.. they dont quiet the exhaust in my experience.
