I recently installed a set of MAC 1 5/8" LT's onto my car but didnt notice until a few days ago that they are actually touching the bell housing in one place on the passengers side. The car has an AOD, and from what I can tell they are just baaaarely touching. I just want to know if there is anything I can do about this and if not can I cause damage to anything if I leave it? I cant seem to feel the header vibrating the tranny or anything from inside the car or on the gear shift. I tried bending the header with a pry bar but didnt get anywhere. Plus there isnt but like 1/2", if that, of clearance on the other side of the header from the frame. Any suggestions?

The only thing I'd be worried about is heat transfer from the header to the transmission. You could grind down that spot on the bellhousing just a little so it's not touching.
