May have found out why my fan is not operating. The connector to it looks like it had some contamination and water/coolant has gotten in there. It is very corroded looking. How do I clean this the best? Will brake parts cleaner work?
I fiddled with some sand paper, folding it and such to fit it in there and sanded the contacts. Afterwords got some rubbing alchohol on a q-tip and cleaned them well. I then put some dialectic grease on there and connected everything back up. Fan works! I guess it was just the corrosion. Whew...good thing I don't need a new fan, those things are expensive...hehe.
glad it worked out for the best, a quick tip is if there is corrosion there you should spend a little time checking all connections on the car, i do this during our long winter here in buffalo anyway just a tip to make life easier
