I know the 90-93 tower design up gives you more adjustment than the 79-89 design; but how much more? Lets say that I wanted to put an '89 front clip/fender aprons on a 90-93 car, what would I be loosing? Or would the use of aftermarket CC plates make the "problem" non-existent?

To quote Kirschenbaum in his Official Mustang 5.0 Technical Reference Handbook, pg. 84, "To increase wheel caster (and improve steering geometry during suspension compression), the tops of the front struts were relocated rearward, slightly closer to the cowl in the 1990 model. This improves cornering (by reducing understeer) and may also have a positive effect on tire wear. As in 1987, the K-frames adds caster when the control arm is compressed (during cornering and/or braking). Raising the front arms' inner pivots also effectively lowers the car's front roll center.
