I've seen a 3" support over 850Rw...so like Nipples said...it alll depends on your setup

Really depends on cubic inch, turbine, housing, basically everything that contributes to backpressure. A Mod Motor with small cubes will likely support more with a 3.5" DP where a big inch pushrod stroker will support less (in general).

yes, def depends... how big is the turbine wheel inside that turbo?

A dp larger than the wheel wont help all that much to my understanding... reason Hellion uses a 3" dp on their 76mm kits. That T76 only has a 67mm exhaust wheel so a larger dp than 3" wont really help with only a 2.6" wheel.

But on something like a Comp 8488 it would benefit seeing that turbo uses an 88mm (3.5") turbine wheel... so it would choke on a 3" dp.
