E85 aside, since my fuel system and injectors I do not believe are compatible with the stuff at this point...

How much boost has anyone run with VP110 (107 motor octane)?

I ran it last year with 18 psi and about 22 degrees total timing on my 76mm 331 (went 9.44 @ 144). It felt like it wanted more timing, but I blew my driveshaft and toasted my tranny in the process on the next pass!!

Everyone around my area keeps telling me to run C16, but I can't get C16 around here, without buying a drum of it ($$$$$$$$).

Will VP110 be enough octane for me to run 25 psi this year with decent timing, or am I NUTZ!!

Let me know your experiences. :salute:
