how long do you guys think itll take a 91mm turbo to about 10lbs with a 1.10ar hot side to spool on a stock bottom end 5.0 with a 308 gear 5speed car? Trying to see if i should put a 2step on car to build boost for 1/8th mile track car will be a weekend driver. thanks

i would say the 1/8 mile. i wouldn`t even bother putting that big of a
turbo on a stock bottom end. get yourself a 76mm

nitrous will spool it just fine
Until the power made by that huge turbo splits the block in half. That's a turbo that's designed to flow from 40 - 120 or so lbs/min of air. That's way more than your setup needs. 500HP on that turbo is barely even getting it moving, and you're going to have tons of lag and no head room to creep up on your tune. I agree with 1sickpony, get yourself a smaller turbo. You'll be much happier with a 67mm or a 76mm unit, depending on your goals.

Why are you wasting money on a 91mm turbo on a 308ci motor running 10psi ?

Uber lag and plots out like poop on the compressor map. FTL
That will be dumping a ton of extra heat into the system for no reason.

Tuff call. Trade me for mine I have a tp38 off a powerstroke and it runs great onmy car. Its map looks just like a Garrett 62-1. I'm doing a 351 or 393 next year.
