Im researching the idea of building my own upper and lower control arms for my IRS swap into my 89 notch. I cant get a wide wheel on it because of the coilovers location and cant go out because of the width without doing huge fender flares. I have already tubbed the car. I was thinking of building my own arms and moving the coil overs inboard or doing some kind of pushrod system with a bell crank. My questions are, what size tubing would you use for control arms, wall thickness, would you use rod ends or heim joints?? Id like to make one of the arms adjustable for my alignment, so would it be better to come off of the upper or lower arm with the coil over??:confused:
