Hello everyone, i know I'm probably going to get flamed for this but i was thinkin, what about a diesel in one of these things? Maybe a VW TDI 2.0 in front of a T5,Or a power stroke or duramax (with their own tranny), the only thing with these is that they are heavier than a big block.OR maybe even a turbo 300 inline 6 and use the T5? i know it'll bolt up. So I'm not sure I'm just thrown this out there to see what sticks lol :idunno::D

yes, but is there anyone out there with actually experience? Im looking for something different. I saw the 4bt fox,it was underwhelming. I don't think the 6bt would be that much better unless it was built to the moon with crazy boost. VW TDI still seems interesting to me, no hp but all the torque you would want and still light weight. A duramax or power stroke 7.3turbo with a zf5 speed seems like it has merit, I'm just not sure how these motors would react in the fox chassy. Has anyone put a 300 inline 6 into a fox?

I love the 300 I6 idea as I was drooling over a car raft article I saw. It was a stock longblock 4.9 with some head studs and a turbo and blow through carb setup in a Maverick. Very basic and car went 9s! Fittment shouldn't be an issue as long 2JZs will fit along with a cummins.
