I am looking at doing a LS swap into my 93 Coupe.

Here is what I have to work with:
AEM 1401 EMS
FAST 4150 TB
3" exhaust
Griggs 5.0 Tubular K-member (not going to switch to other K-member)
Griffin Fox Radiator
G-Force T-5
2 PLX Wideband sensors
2 different sets of LS coil packs

Here is what I am Looking for in a LS motor:
Aluminum motor
Start with 300 rwhp to get it running and eventually want 450 rwhp.
Would like to stay efi and want to know if I could use my AEM or my FAST TB.
Long Tube Headers.

The purpose of the car is daily driver and open track events.

I have no idea what motor, oil pan, headers to start with or what vehicle to get the motor from.
1. Are there any how-to sites or specific write-up sites with detailed part numbers?
2. What about power steering, alternator, and maybe A/C?

Thanks,
Rob

If you just have to hit 450whp, you only need an LS3 with a cam/spring kit. That's it. Run the stock TB, intake, MAF that comes with the GM harness kit, stock ignition, ect. Sell you FAST TB and AEM stuff and just buy a copy of HP Tuners Pro (you sound like you already know your way around EFI tuning) and read up on the basic parts you need to fit the motor into the car. I would even dump off the Griffen radiator and get a cheaper F-body radiator/fan setup for less money. I have detailed files.

LS3 motor: what is the average price and what vehicles did they come in? Is ebay a good source or should I look at other places?

Is it worth trying to use my T-5 or should I use a GM trans?

Thanks,
Rob
