Maybe im getting crazy in my old age,but im thinking of taking off the eddy performer heads typhon intake and e cam. Put the stock e7s stock intake and the stock cam back in and put on a on3 kit. Stock appearing engine with turbo.

Couple questions

1) with going back to the stock longblock would the E cam make a few more hp over the stocker with the turbo? Imo the e cam in there now has a close to srock powerband. Seems to pull good off idle to 5500 or so. My thinking was im not going to be able to resell the E cam for much anyway so maybe leave it right in there?

2) this is the original engine in the car so i dont want to risk spliting the block and making the most hp or id just throw the on3 onto the hci thats on there now. Will get a safe tune done. Would be nice to dip into the 11's. Im assuming that can be done on the stock longblock with a 65mm tb proper fuel system and what 10-13lbs boost? Basically how much boost can i run with arp headbolts. I had a engine with head studs and was a pain to get the heads off in the car. Of i recall couldn't get the drivers side off in the car it hit the booster.

Im kind of torn as it runs good now and the stock t-5 is i greate shape along with stock diff. With a turbo kit on stock engine id need a tremec 3550 atleast for slicks and 31 splined rear?

If your going for looks fine but the better na setup the less boost you need. So you could leave it how it is and run 5-7 lb of boost instead of 10 to reach a safe limit for the original block.

Sounds like a bad idea to me...I'd just leave it alone if you want all the stock drivetrain components to stay in decent shape.

Yup probably right.

I've had it for 5 years put maybe 1000 miles on it. Ive bought a 65mm tb sn95 maf 190lph fuel pump adj pressure regulator to go on it. But it runs so good i haven't turned a wrench on it other than oil.

Had it for sale but seems no interest with the hci on ot all want stock.i thought about putting the stock top end back on reselling the hci and maybe put the turbo kit on to have some fun then take the turbo kit off to sell stock.
