i posted in the general forum but figured i'd get better response here..

what's another option for these pads?

i like the performance and don't care about the added rotor wear

but do care about the noise which is annoying

For what usage? You mention noise, so I'm assuming you're using these on the street? Strictly street use or what?

I'm convinced that HP+ are a prank played on the motoring public. Their braking power comes mostly from rotor abrasion, until they overheat, which is soon, and at which point they're garbage.

My answer to life, the universe, and everything is Raybestos ST47. Effective at every temp you're likely to throw at them including stone cold, easy on rotors, long-lasting, and reasonable in the dust-and-noise department.
