Despite my converter being way too tight and not being able to build ANY boost off the line I still got some decent times I would say.

The car was flying down the track compared to my previous setup thats for sure just slow off the line.

This was full weight, full interior, subs/ amps in trunk, etc.

Anyways, my best time was 10.7x with something like a 1.8 60 foot and 132 mph trap speed.

I think it has low 10s in it no problem with a looser converter.

Heres the slip.

looks like a [email protected] 105

I wasnt too far behind with my vortech setup haha, think it did a [email protected] mph...this car just hauls ass from the 330 foot on now.

Its a shame the converter isnt right...I might have a shot at a 9 second slip if I could launch in boost and pull 1.5x range 60 foots.

yep sorry about that.

Its a 96 GT with a 4r70w and a multi disc converter
3.27 rear
forged 4.6 2v
edelbrock victor jr manifold
ported PI heads
stock PI cams
67mm comp turbo on3 kit

The car made 541 rwhp on 15~ psi and 587 rwhp on 18-19 psi

These runs were done on the high boost setting.

I probably could have pushed more boost and timing but figured id leave it at that since it wasnt launching at all anyway.

man. I love these 2v's yiu can just throw a bottom end in and and boost and be done. Us 5.0 guys need blocks and grap.. Maybe my fox needs a 4v?

Yep, pretty much all you need is some boost and forged internals and they are solid.

I was worried about my transmission so I didnt push it any farther.

Is that comp turbo one of their triple ball bearing jobs? If so how do u like it?
Its a journal bearing billet wheel 67mm.

With my setup now I can pretty much hit the gas from any speed rolling and have virtually instant boost so no issues with spool time.

Im satisfied with it, seeing the full 15 psi at 3500 rpms on the dyno although I have nothing else to compare it to but ti seems to be doing its job.

I had issues with TR6s even when I closed to gap way down to .02.

Switched to BR6EF, left the stock gap and it was fine at 20 psi.

I believe the gap on them is really tight, around .02 from the factory from my measurement but the big thing is the non projected tip
