I recently got back from the junkyard with a few pieces from older Mustangs ...I picked up a speedometer bezel from a 97 Mustang with a rear defrost button, a shifter bezel from a 01 Mustang with a traction control button and fog light switch that belongs where the coin holder would be. As we all know, all the above mentioned switches can be found on my radio bezel..My main concern is if I could wire them up to be used for other things such as other lights, amp, or nitrous arm? I don't mind adding toggle switches for the extra stuff, I just think it would give the car a cleaner look to have factory switches rather than toggle switches... I should mention all the connectors on the factory switches are there and good shape. Thanks in advance for any help.

removes posibble high current in the cockpit

you can run 18awg instead of 12 or 10, much easier

you can have shorter runs for loads, have a nice relay box in one spot

just a smarter way to do it
