I have decided to sell my 1985 Mustang GT. It runs and drives great and has been reliable but the gas is killing me mainly. Car is located in Hawthorne NJ, 07506 and heres some details about it.

1985 GT factory 5.0 5 speed car but at sometime in its life someone put an AOD in. I have since swapped it back to a 5 speed with T-5 from a 91 LX 5.0 in that shifts perfect.
-Power windows
-Power door locks
-Cruise control, worked when i bought it but have since installed a grant steering wheel with no cruise buttons obv.
-Rear defroster
-A/C is gone

I bought the car with the following installed:
-Flowmaster 2.5in catback
-Mac o/r X pipe
-8.8 Rear with 3.73's installed, rear works great and makes no noise ever
-FMS 1.6 roller rockers

In the past year I have installed the following
-Energy suspension poly motor mounts
-Energy suspension poly trans mount
-FRPP ceramic coated shorty headers
-Centerforce dualfriction clutch (10.5 in)
-Ford oem Throwout bearing
-Shift release fork, pivot ball...anything related to the clutch replaced is new
-Steel stamped bearing retainer
-BBK adjustable cable
-Hays adjustable quadrant
-MGW shifter with both short and long handles
-87-93 front spindles using 5 lug rotors
-Ranger axles and drums
-Front lower control arms have poly bushings and new balljoints
-Poly swaybar endlinks
-Eibach sportline springs
-Poly spring isolators
-Tociko illumna shocks/struts
-BBK caster/camber plates
-17X9 Black bullit wheels with Nexen N3000 255-40-17 tires...about 3k miles on wheels, tires and full suspension
-BBK catted X pipe
-New smog pump
-New smog line
-New serpentine belt with custom adjuster
-Alternator replaced
-Brand new motorcraft battery
-MSD 6AL ignition box
-MSD tach adapter
-Brand new Valve cover gaskets
-Chrome saleen aircleaner lid
-Brand new Fuel pump
-New headliner
-Re-dyed dash pad
-New door handle bezels
-New ignition switch
-Fresh tuneup recently consisting of motorcraft plugs, FRPP 9mm wires, cap, rotor, and pcv
-Extras to go with the car like FRPP upper control arms and a set of mustang V6 wheels, and a bunch of small misc stuff from the car.

There is more im prob forgetting, Pictures pretty much speak for themselves...the only rust on the car is surface and is at the bottoms of both doors and around the windshield a little. Other than that it is very clean.

You should call me today and im sure we can figure something out...If you really are interested I would prefer you come to look at the car being for some reason it may not be what you thought etc...before I were to make the trip up to your area and then have you say this isint what you thought it was etc...just saying, im sure you know what I mean. I sent you another PM.
