I goofed and mounted up Tokico Blues with the infamous "C" spring. I feel
these springs (650 linear/200-300 progressive), will work fine for my current
set-up...with the proper dampers. I am thinking Bilstein HD's or Koni SA's
might be a better match.

Application is '94 GT HPDE and "weekends" car. Any suggestions from folks
that have experience with getting these springs optimized would be
appreciated. Also, with the Koni's (and a 1.5 front drop), would the 87-93
strut be a better choice?

Yes, you want the fox-length struts. You'd do fine with either the Bilstein or the Koni but the Koni will give you the ability to tune through adjustments.

I sell both... Won't surprise anyone when I say Koni over Bilstein for the exact reason MFE mentioned--adjustability.

You can do an awful lot to how car responds, turn-ins, take a sets, and even the confidence in you have it when you can play with damping. This isn't a dream, it's why so many high end cars now have adjustable dampers on them, cars like ZR1's, Porsche Sport Packages, Ferrari's.... Those companies understand that there isn't one setting that will suit all persons, all the time, in every situation.

Bilstein's are great dampers in terms of quality and ride, but when dealing with increasing springs rates, less travel, and a performance need like HPDE's then I think you want something that gives you options and doens't just make you settle for "good enough".

Thanks, I was leaning towards the Koni and the ability to adjust for the track
which in this case, is Lime Rock Park...anyone looking for a set Tokico Blues with low miles? ;)
