So I was ordering my shocks yesterday when I was told that since my car is lowered it was good to have the fox body shocks instead of the SN-95 shocks becuase of something to do w/ a shorter distance between the camber plate and the bolts on the control arm. Is this normal?????? I took his word for it.

By the way i guess they are called struts not shocks?!?

Griggs Racing says that they run fox car struts on lowerd sn95 cars because the shorter fox strut will increase suspension travel. If you use the longer sn95 strut, you will loose some suspension travel.

I've heard the same thing from steeda.

If you use MM or Pro3i caster/camber plates you can move the spacers to compensate for the lowered suspension with SN95 struts.
