Installed the on3 kit on my stock block stock cam302, had no problems with the
install. Started it today for the first time and the car wont idle unless i hold the gas,as
soon as i let off the car dies. It also seems to be smoking alot. Any ideas. Thanks

sounds like its running way to rich.. what maf and injectors are you using?? Also do you have a wideband??

Its the pro-m and 42lbs injectors from on3, the wideband is all over the place, it will go from 11.6 at part throttle (3000rpm) to not even reading at idle!

Also the turbo has a little oil at the bottom were it bolts to the header, and really started smoking at part throttle from the engine bay?

Not sure if youve seen all the problems people have had with the on3 injectors and mafs but IMO thats your problem.. you could do like i did and put in the stock injectors, just so you can drive it and work out the bugs..

Ya I've seen that lately! wish that would have come out before i bought the accessory kit!
I have gotten the car to run by turning the idle screw up a bit but it is still running rough. I set the timing at 20deg locked but im have problems with the fuel pressure, it stays at 36 with the vacuum on and off no matter how much I turn it in and out! btw its a bbk reg and never gave me a problem before( I know there isn't alot of gas in the tank so I'm thinking that may be a problem). Also when I welded in the mass air bracket i didn't weld it all the way around so i'm wondering if that could be a problem also!

The rough idle and Air Fuel all over the place is exactly what happened with my on3 injectors. Long story short, replaced them with true Siemens Deka injectors and problem solved!! My maf mount is welded all the way around. I also had smoking for a while coming off the pipes. The turbo also smoked when doing full runs on the dyno but only in the upper rpm range.

Mine isn't an On3 kit but I have similar issues with summit brand injectors. I read AJs thread and swapping to lighting injectors right now. I also cleaned my IAT sensor.

Well I fully welded the mass air and will probably try it tomorrow! Does anyone think if the injectors are messed up it would cause me to not be able to set fuel pr. That is the one thing that really has me stumped because i never had a problem with it before! The only things i changed were the injectors, fuel pump, and mass from my original setup that was with the nitrous!

So I figured out I messed up my mass air wiring, fixed that started it and it is running better but still smoking and the wideband is still all over. It doesn't even register at idle also i still can't set my fp it is a 28 with the vacuum on or off. If i had injectors stuck open would that effect my ability to adjust the fp?
