Finally got my my new turbo, I ordered it in April and it just got here today, 88mm, #GTA-4718, 56 trim 88/118mm compressor, 92.7mm 82 trim turbine, .96 A/R T6, 5.15" V-band discharge housing. TV75 style compressor housing, cut for 88 cwheel.

Yeah, I told them I wasnt in a hurry to get it but I didn't think they would take this long.

I was told it was a custom for my needs from Work Turbochargers by Reed.

What size motor did you spec this for?

A 327 with TFS TW heads that flow 300 & 217 @ 500.

~825rwhp is what it took to get my 3300# coupe to go a 8.87 @ 153 with a plain BW S475 last year. You should be able to run mid 8's fairly easy.

Well let's see if I have the balls to go 8s, I hit the wall over 2 years ago, when I was running [email protected] and I am slowly putting the coupe back together. I was told I could still run low boost and still make good power the way Reed set the turbo up. My theory was to keep my setup simple, run a big air to air, no Meth, no E85, just 83lb injectors, old school F.A.S.T., and not max out the efficiency of the turbo to keep air temps down. I don't know if it's a good theory but I will give it a try and see how it works for me. Also I will start off with low boost to see if I can handle it or not.
