Wondering if I would be ok running a valve cover to header evac setup on the street. Motor is a 306, P heads and a Jay Allen cam. About 10:1 compression, and will see more street than strip for now. Or should I just run a conventional PCV setup?

I've had good luck with both. When I had a 306 I had a PCV setup that worked great.I've heard that for a evac system to work best you need a straight thru type muffler. For a fairly mild setup I'd probably stick to a PCV system.Tim

I had nothing but bad luck with mine. (Moroso header EVAC) The check valves kept failing thus allowing exhaust presure to enter the crank case. Look at some of my posts, I just installed an electric EVAC pump and catch can. Its working well so far.
