I haven't had this car on the track yet. And honestly this is the fastest car I've owned.
It's currently getting tuned. When it returns I plan on doing some grudge matches maybe a stick shoot out. Details below
1994 cobra
V2 s trim blower intercooled 2.75 pulley
Custom 339 Bryant crank
Forged internals
AFR 185 heads
Anderson b51 cam
Short headers
Complete aero motive fuel system (a1000)
ID1000s
Ported cobra intake 355 gears
Built tremec 3550
Off road h
Spin tech mufflers
Strang shocks and I think springs too
Adjustable upper rear control arms
Sway bar removed
3153517 drag radials (don't know which brand yet)
Full weight. AC everything.
Will be tuned on e85 making around 650-700 rwhp hopefully

I could be wrong, but I'm not sure if you can make that kind of power with the Cobra intake, ported or not, and a stock block. Again, I could be wrong. Everything else is on point, and you don't mention if it's a stock block or a Dart block. Having said all that, if you are making that kind of power, I think your goal should be 6.40s, which roughly equates to 10.0s in the quarter.

It looks like you only have adjustable upper control arms. It would be smart to upgrade the lowers, and I've included a link to the ones we carry. Good luck, and let us know how the track goes.

It's a boss block. I think all the control arms are adjustable. I just didn't want to put a lie on here. I didn't put the control arms on.
Maybe someone can help me with the intake. I've heard cobra intake are good. But I know there has to be a limit just like anything else. Is it the upper or lower that restricts?
I've seen on some Windsor cars that people have a intake that doesn't have a upper.... I am real intrested in those. Don't know what they are called and where to find them. The intake piping or what have you goes on the throttle body like a hat. I like the look of those. And it makes since.

Oh okay, cool. The intake you speak of is an Edelbrock Super Victor EFI. It looks like a carb intake, but you can outfit it with injectors, rails, elbow, and throttle body. We don't carry those at Steeda, but we do have the Edelbrock Performer 5.0, and Performer RPM II.

The intake you speak of is part number 29285 for the satin finish. That one is for an 8.2 deck, 302-based combination. Edelbrock has a fuel rail kit to go along with the intake, as well.

If you go the conventional intake route, for your combo the RPM II is the better choice over the Performer 5.0.
Good choice on the Boss block. What cubic inch are you running? I assume with the AFR 185s, it's a 306/331, maybe?

Sounds like a nice setup. I'd say see what it will do with the cobra intake. I've seen people make good power with them in the past.

Good luck with it

It's actually a 339. I didn't build the engine. It has a Bryant racing custom crank. Between a 331 and a 347. Seems smart.
It's at STL mustangs right now counting down the days till I get the call! It has the factory cobra rear end. I am just going to make sure the car is hauled to the drag strip lmao. I've seen a friends factory 8.8 hold some nasty tq on a 4v twin screw on drag radials. We will see.
Thanks for telling me which intake that is. I seen it in a magazine and I've been searching mad for it. I actually went back to make sure the car wasn't carbd

most i have seen out of an s trim was 550rwhp. that was with a cut apart and ported cobra intake back in the day. i would be very surprised to see an s trim make over about 570 sae. we had the compressor pretty maxed out. 6.40s should be a cake walk.

Honesty it's a older blower and it doesn't have a trim level on the tag and I called vortech and no answers there with the serial number. So it might be a T trim. And the dyno papers I've already got for it was mid 5s so hopefully I am wrong about the trim level

well thats easy enough to figure out. an s trim uses a 3.5" ID inlet hose and a T trim uses a 3.75". so measure the od of the inlet flange.
