you can stick with the ford w motor for cheap. ,,,but whatever you do you MUST GO TO AN AFTERMARKET ecu ( they are obsolete) and then spend the money on a fuel system (injectors Lines, pump, maybe tank , ECT) . the stock system , even with a KILLER pump will NOT supply any real torque/HP numbers. then as soon as you put a clutch in this thing it WILL break EVERYTHING in the drive train......Been there done that
Ive done 2 supercharged and 2 Turbo fox's, The power is easy ,,,the drive train is Expensive.
Even with the On3 $3000 is not going to do it. Same with a decent LS swap never mind a quality LS swap. I say buy some used aluminum heads, good intake,longtubes and gears. Best bang for the buck. Oh and a good fuel pump. Keep the stock cam and speed density for now.
