I hope you guys can help me with this as I'm at a loss. A few weeks ago I left my lights on and killed my battery, a Sears Gold diehard. I took the battery in as it would not take a charge. I then installed a new, fully charged, Sears diehard gold but noticed some strange occurances. The car cranks fine but when the ignition is off the power locks seem to struggle and take several attempts to lock or unlock themselves. I also have an alarm system installed that runs the stock power locks- the alarm system now fails to chirp when arming and disarming. I'm not sure if the alarm trouble and the power locks are related- perhaps I just need to reprogram the alarm for chirping but that doesn't solve why my power locks behave like they are not getting enough power with the engine off. The alarm goes off just fine when the car is jarred.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
