I finally put the car on the dyno today after having it together for about 3 or 4 years now. Lol. This was at a local speed shop that was having a dyno day. The car has been put together and tuned by me on the county backroads. I think it did pretty good.

579 Hp / 556 Tq - apprx. 9 - 9.5psi boost.

Manual trans and generous dyno? Whats it do at the track?
T5 transmission. Its just a standard dynojet dyno. The dyno owner was surprised at the numbers that it made on 9-9.5psi. He expected it to be more like 15psi or so. So i don't think its necessarily a generous dyno. Its just a combo that works. It runs around 10.70's 10.80's @ 130mph at the track w/ crappy 1.6 60's. It would really benefit from a C4 w/ a brake.

570rwhp and 130mph trap means the car weighs 3600-3700 pounds or the numbers dont jive. Not calling BS, but my old car was a tremec, made 510rwhp and trapped 133mph at 3100lbs.

I am just as impressed w/ the numbers as other people. I was honestly expecting somewhere between 475hp/525hp. The 130mph trap speed was on 7-8psi and these dyno numbers are on 9.5psi. I have not weighed the car, but I am pretty sure that it is alot lighter than 3700 pounds.

Remember dyno's are all somewhat relative. Some do spit out higher #'s than other (Mustang dyno vs. Dynojet). This was on a Dynojet dyno.
