loctite or moly lube? i installed it about 4yrs ago...took it off last yr to do work and am now re-installing and i cant remember if you are supposed to use any product.

I didn't use any and as long as they were torqued down I didn't have a problem. If that helps

No need for locate or moly lube. If anything, I would use a LITTLE bit of anti-seize on the bolt threads.

I did use a tad bit of Blue Lock-tite on my bolt threads and nuts. Not red, red is permanent. I didn't see any issues with blue. Just gives it a small bonding agent to keep from backing out from vibration, heat etc. and preforms as an anti rust if the metals that are in contact are dissimilar.
