hey guys. I've got a few sets of coil-over springs... 2 sets of 12/150's (not sure of brand, they're black) and I've got QA1's, in a 14/110 and 12/130.

My question is: which set would be best for my setup??

I'm not sure what my car wieghs, so I'll give you all some details on it.

It's an 85 gt with an iron headed 302. tubular k member, only an alt. on the motor, no front bumper, UPR upper and lowers, Lakewood 50/50's and 70/30's (hopefully will be 90/10's soon), convo-pro's w/ 275 M/T drag radials and Skinnies. The car is not gutted at all, but nothing has been added either. Should be in the mid 12's.

any advice is appreciated, thanks guys.

I would use the 130 lb springs if your battery is still in the front and you have the stock front brakes.

I have 14" 130s on my car with alluminum headed/carbed 427. Battery relocated to rear, no accessories except alt and belt tensioner, tubular k/arms, no bumper, etc... They are a bit soft and the car sits fairly low. I might be able to adjust them up another inch or so, but thats about it.

In your case, I would go with the 12/150s. The 14" spring is better, but not with only 110 lbs and iron heads. The longer the spring is, the more stored energy you have.

I also have my battery in the rear, forgot to mention that. thanks for the replies guys. I'll probably try both the 130's and 150's and see what works best.
