If the Clutch Tamer allows the clutch to slip on launch; won't the clutch slip on the 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 shifts when the clutch is released?

If the clutch slips excessively after the shifts, that generally means the ClutchTamer's inner "initial hit" setting is too soft which will also make the car slow to react on launch. Set the outer knob to 4 turns, then add 1 more turn clockwise to the inner dial per pass until the timeslips stop improving.

That said, added slip after the shifts is one reason expensive adjustable clutches exist. The main benefit is improved recovery rpm after the shift, which improves power production. You may think that any slip after a shift is a simple waste of power, but that small waste of power is more than offset by a much bigger power increase. It's the same reason why a looser converter can make an automatic car quicker/faster.

Thanks for the info. I haven't purchased one yet, but most likely will. Curiosity got the best of me.
