I am looking for clutch recommendations for my 86' hatchback. It has z-spec T-5, 4.10 gears, 275/50 M&H DR. Probably a little over 400hp. First time to the track it went 12.54 at 113.5 mph with a 1.94 60ft, it bogged some and I shifted to 2nd a bit early. It would not shift after that pass, but I did get a 1.72 60ft. I adjusted my clutch some before the last pass, and the clutch disk came apart when I shifted to 3rd. It was an 8 year old FMS heavy duty clutch.

Centerforce dual friction works well for me. Car makes 505rwhp.

I've been very happy with my RAM Powergrip. I make 454/478 SAE in a 3300 lb car (with driver) and have had the clutch in for three years. The pedal weight is still manageable in stop and go traffic and I regularly cut 1.62-1.58 60's (leaving ~4000 RPM) on 28x11.50 QTP's.

I know that it would be quicker with a slick, but it's a street car. I like to run it the way I drive it on the street.
