Can you Heat wrap you intake pipe with header wrap? I have alot left over and was thinking of doing this would this help block some more heat?

yeah u can do it but its pointless. its a very common mistake.

Why would it be a mistake wouldn't it keep heat from the intake tract? Right now my whole hot
Side is ceramic coated and wraped thought this could help too

heat wrap is meant to keep heat inside the piping.

yeah once its heat soaked it actually does the exact opposite of what u want.

You can use the 'reflective' tape that supposedly helps keep heat out for the intake pipe. I picked a roll up at O'Reily's

Honestly, the best thing is to ensure proper routing so that the intake tube is far away from heat. If you wrap it with anything, you can actually hurt your IAT because the piping would not be able to cool itself with the incomming air. If it is wrapped with reflective tape, the tape will not conduct the cooling effect of wind effectively onto the pipe to help cool the air.
