I was wondering can you bypass the tube on the lower intake with sensor in it? what is the sensor anyway? Im not planning on using my heater so I was just gonna remove the tube and put a plug in the inatke. will it be ok to do that? any help is appreciated. thanks

Yank the whole tube, put a bushing in the intake an screw the sensor in. It's a coolant temp sensor.

Just go to your local hardware store and get a reducer/adaptor. Thats how I run mine.

They gave you the answer. Why the ttt?

That sensor tells the computer what the coolant temp is. It is used to determing the correct amount of "crank fuel" for startup, to determine when the car has warmed up enough to switch from the "cold start" furel table to the base fuel table, to protect the engine from overheating damage by reducing the ignition timing, and various olthe things.

Get the reducer bushing or loop the hose at the back of the tube so coolant flows through the tube past the sensor.

I got the bushing and it worked with no problems. thanks for all the help
