Started rebuilding my stock 1992 Mustang.Bought a used 5.0 to replace the 4 cylinder.Then ordered a set of stainless turbo headers off Ebay,66mm Borg Warner Turbo (.91 AR) and a large air-air intercooler from Frozen Boost.I also bought another Dynamic Mighty Mite C4 tranny.Plan to make 4OO RWHP or so HP.This is a work car and will look the part.It is primer gray with the original 10 hole rims.Plan to really stun some new Chargers,Camaros and even a Stang or 2.This sounds like fun.Now would 42 or 50 lbs. injectors fit my stock block combo?Leaning toward 50 to just be sure.Computer is a A9L and will be tuned in order for this engine to survive for now.Plan to replace this with a Boss block in the future.>:)

Seems most people run either 42 or 60's. I went with 60's so I would have headroom for future mods. Don't forget you'll need at least a 255 fuel pump. I went with the Aeromotive 340.

That's gonna be a fun car. Similar to mine. I have an On3 kit with the 67mm BB going through a built AOD. My plans are similar to yours, surprise the newer muscle, but I also wanna go 10's. What gear you running? I have the stock 3.27's I plan on leaving in as it works nicely with the overdrive in the AOD. Does that C4 have a trans brake?

Sounds like a cool car, I'm a big fan of sleepers. Be sure to post more about your car!

I sold my 91 GT to a friend and he has CX Racing headers and is tuning it with Megasquirt Plug and Play and wideband. It went 12.5 @ 6psi and the tune is very conservative with 18 deg of timing under boost. We figured if my Buick can run 20# with 18 deg hes good with 6#

How long did it take you to get your dynamic c4?
I just ordered one and they couldn't tell me a ship date.

Seimens deka 80's. They are easier to control on the low side than the old 42's and such, plus the will handle any future modifications, unless you get really wild.

Yes the Mighty Mite has a brake.I will also have to shift it myself as the trans has no auto shift functions.But that is no biggie.Just wanted a tuff as nails C4.

My fuel plan is to run a 255 in tank with a T-Rex inline pump.Ran this same pump arrangement in my old Stang when I ran a Vortech S trim.This time I will not have to worry about belts shredding to bits.(50+ BUCKS A POP!)I also may run some 50,60 or 80 pound injectors.

I also bought a 8.8 rearend to replace the 7.6 or whatever the 4 cylinder Stangs came with.Do not know what gears are in it but it was a Stang with a automatic AOD tranny.So I plan to run the gears that are already in it and go from there.

Why mess with the vortech pump at all? a 340 in the stock hanger with stock lines will support enough power to split the stock block. If you want more power than that, you'll need to do the whole fuel system over with a nice external pump anyway. Just don't see a point. Heck, the 255 alone has been proven time and time again at 450 rwhp by itself. lol

I have never considered running a 340LPH pump.Aeromotive makes a 340 LPH in tank pump that would deliver all my fuel needs for this project.Simple installation would be a plus.Stealth is my ultimate goal.May not be the fastest on the road but give hell to the unsuspecting.Crushing egos is the real goal.I would use my 351 Windsor but cannot figure how to get it to fit under a stock hood.:laugh:

There is an aeromotive 340, a deatchwerks 340, and an AEM 340 pump. I'd be comfortable choosing from any of those. the internal pumps will run quieter than the external as well, adding to the stealth/stock factor. I have a walbro 450 in my turbo car (hanger mods required) and it's about as quiet as stock.
