I am about to help a friend do an Aerospace rear disc upgrade on his race only notchback. What are you guys using for a proportioning valve on your cars. Or are you using one at all. I have heard that if you are running skinny front tires, you should put a proportioning valve on the front brake lines instead of the rear, like a street car has. What do you guys think?

I am running the Jeg's adjustable proportioning valve. Wilwood sells one as well. I'm sure there are others but yeah you should run one.

I have the Wilwood. I tried to get the bias equal by testing stops on a wet "street". I have manual 4-wheel disks. I plumbed the valve so that it's at the bottom of the a pillar bar of my 10 pt. near the floor so it would be convenient to reach down and adjust it while I was testing the bias.

Just to give you a heads up, the "Summit" brand one is actually a Wilwood with a Summit label over the name.:)
