I have 4 bottles of Motul RBF600 that I got from Maximum Motorsports last year the date on them is 7/24/17 which I figure is the date they were bottled. I did some searching and some companies say for unopened fluid its 2 to 5 years. I wanted to see if anyone else had some input on it.

I bought a case of the Motul 3-4 years ago and it seems to be just fine. I haven't noticed any problems or loss of performance as measured by boiling it on track. Now if it's been opened then that's a different story. Why don't you call Motul and see what they say.

All depends on the permeability of the bottle and seal. They will all let some moisture in to some degree. How much, and over what period of time would really take some testing to determine. My guess it the risk is very low.

A year and a half in a sealed bottle? I'd run it.

Good to know. I'm gonna use up my older stuff and when it goes bad I'm sure it will let me know.
