Well, it seems that my master cylinder ('93 Cobra, 1") is dying and leaking out the back end. When I swap it next week I would like to swap brake boosters. Right now I have the stock booster with Cobra brakes. I have felt that the booster just doesnt have enough boost. It is fine while street driving but it seems to almost cut out when I need real brake force. I am thinking of installing a '94-95 V6/GT booster. Junkyards havent looked to promising, plus I would like to get a new unit. It seems that Ford has them for $275. I have also checked AutoZone online and they have ones from Cardone and ARI, both at $70 plus $50 core. I dont know which is better, Cardone or ARI. What do you guys suggest? This is one of those parts I dont want to skimp on and have to replace anytime soon, so I will pony up the extra cash. Should I go with the Ford unit? Any sources that would be cheaper for the Ford unit? That price is from Ford Parts Network. Thanx.
