I am looking for boost leaks on my 03 Procharged GT. I am capped of at the throttle body and have the blower removed to check all piping, intercooler, and bypass valve. Is it normal for the bypass valve to leak a little bit when pressured up, mine leaks all the time even at low pressure. I am assuming this should hold tightly closed all the time, correct? Sorry for all the basic questions I am working through my new project. Pics of my bypass attached. If I need to replace this is there an inexpensive replacement to look for, not going over 10lbs of boost.

I was messing with it some more and it seems to leak a good amount of air, I think I am going to try to pick up a cheep Bosch used one and see if it holds better. Thanks for your rely Indy.

that style valve will leak doesn't hurt anything. eric radzkin from procharger has a video about this valve on you tube if you search for it.
