Anyone added a second waste gate to dump the exhaust on the 1-4 cylinders better?

My tuner thinks we can control the boost and power better...and I agree. I knew it was gonna come up eventually.

Combo is in the sig...numbers need an updating though.

I guess you must have the turbo over by 5-8 side and 1-4 feeding a cross over pipe?

Mine is the opposite. I have a single gate on the crossover about 18" below the turbo. I think the 18" down is a problem. My system overruns the capacity of the waste gate in high gear and settles at about 18 psi boost with a 12-13 pound spring. I just live with it since I add dome anyway down track to get boost up around 25 psi.

I thought about adding a second similar WG on 1-4 or tapping the gate in near the flange to see if it fixes the boost going above spring.

I just adding bungs this week to do pressure measurements. This will let me know if the pressure at the WG is the same as pressure at the turbo flange or how far off it is.
