What is the best power rack for a 1993 lx coupe?
I have a brand new stock oem replacement..but it feels like i'm driving a cadi...it's not stiff at all..and I hate it.

I do have tons of MM stuff, on this car like,

Stock K-member..

MM-steering shaft
MM-race H&R springs
Billsteins shocks/struts
MM-panhard bar
MM-front strut tower brace
MM-Tq. arm
MM-full length sub frames
Custom rear shock tower brace in the truck
MM-Bump steer kit
94-95 spindles
cobra 5lug brakes

tires and wheels currently are
17x9 nitto 555 255/40/17 ? front
17x10 nitto 55dr 315/35/17 rear

North race car brackets
-MM steel braided break lines
MM Caster Camber plates
MM Aluminum Steering Rack Bushings
Ford racing new front control arms with the new improved ball joints
MM sway bar bushings
MM sway bar end links
MM rear pinion snubber
MM Rear lower control arms

Anyways the car does not feel stiff...and feel almost unstable!
Any thoughts or opinions?

I need to retain my ac though....

I figured it was the rack over the pump?!

Three questions.

What is your front end alignment?

What is the stack height of the spacers above the outer tie rod?

What is your favorite color?:)

OK to answer your questions..

1st. Do not know on my alignment. (it drives straight)

2nd. Stack height? Please explain?

3rd.Fav color? dont car..for this car either black/white or silver/polished look

You obviously have never seen Monty Python, Holy Grail, the funniest movie ever made. Watch the rope bridge scene.

The only thing you know from the fact that your car drives straight, about your alignment, is that the left and ride sides are set the same. This only means that whoever did the alignment, wasn't massively incompetent. It says nothing about your alignment being appropriate for your car or driving use. I wouldn't spend 10 seconds on anything else, until I found out what the alignment was. Without knowing this, you will be completely wasting your time.

For your car, I would remove any spacers between the tie rod and the shoulder of the stud in the steering arm. Just place all of the spacers below the tie rod, then put the nut on. This will get the tie rod as high as possible, which is probably what you will need on your car.

Also make sure that you are using center drilled rack bushings.
