top edelbrock rpm, accufab 75mm, 76mmMAF
exhaust FMS shorties, H, and cat back-

I want a strong motor combo to squeeze on (plate system) and need help choosing a head, and a cam thats not too crazy.
I am torn between the AFR165, Stock twisted wedge, or going full tilt for the TEA 185 twisted wedge.

would the TEA's be too much for my combo, or the AFR165's too small? Any advice would be great- thanks.

Are you planing to stroke the engine? If not, I would definitely get the AFR 165's. If you are, then the AFR 185's would do really well. They are [email protected]$$. Either way, I would put a custom cam in there to work with everything you have. Hope with helps.

If my shortblock goes south from the juice, then a dss 331 will replace it- so the head has to be flexable- however, for now i want a good, strong, daily combo- I think im leaning towards stock twisted wedge- I think there better than the agr165's, and less cash.
Aren't their stock performance between the 165's and 185's.

I am leaning to think the AFR 185's, and TEA 185s are too much head for my initial streeter, and will cost me too much down low. Am i right?
