woot i just got back from lebanon vally drag way, ran the 02 for the first time with mods, last time i was there i was 100% bone stock and had 80k on original plugs and all

this was with my exhaust, intake, and a 91 performance VMP tune

Run number 1, i was up against a cocky 00 non-supercharged saleen with lambo doors

i had a 15.801 (sooo 15.7 pretty much) at 88.99 mph, with a 2.404 60' time, he ran a 15.009 at 94.69 mph with a 2.3 60' (yes it was a real saleen) i got out to open the hood and he came up to me and said not bad for just a plain GT as he only had about 3-4 cars at the end if that, i poped the hood and his jaw hit the ground when he noticed it was uhhh "missing" 2 cylenders.... oh and before everyone comes in yes i know he sucked at driving

second and third run was against an intake/exhaust/tune Duramax deseil second run i had 15.83 @ 88.77 mph with a 2.407 60', he ran a 15.09 at 91 third was 15.888 at 88.21 mph with a 2.382 60' to his 14.9 at 93 mph

4th run was against an SRT10 ram obviously i got anialted but i did a 15.927 at 88.96 mph with a 2.45 60'

overall i guess i made about a second improvement and half a second on my 60' from last year, time for more upgrades... one way or another

cool good job man! Just keep at it and you should get low 15s. My dad has an 01 and his best was 14.95. Only mods being 3.73 gears, cai and tru dual exhaust.

thanks, time to upgrade to some better rubber and do suspention i think if i dont sell her

Stock transmission? If so, I'd consider doing the JMod and a high stall converter with 4.10's. That should net you high 14's.

Your horrible 60ft times are really holding you back. You should be running very low 15 second passes with that trap speed.

yea im running the stock tranny, i played with preasure on the SCT and it made a small differance

ive got 3.73s and a detroit true trac sitting in my garage that im dieing to get in

and id deff like to upgrade to a 2800 stall and jmod but moneys tight for me right now, if worse comes to worse even i might just sell her and when i can afford it upgrade to something with 4 valves and whines like a spoiled 2 year old, but at the same time the m112 kits for these cars keeps looking soooo tempting

I understand that money is tight thing. We all have been there ourselves.

Here is some advice though. Don't waste your money on a 2800 stall. Get at least a 3200 if not more. I currently have a 4000.

Yea sounds like your spinning way too much. I wouldnt leave at a high RPM , Just slide the gas in since you dont have any sticky rubber.....
